[re]See Jofebar - Perafita

The objective of this call for tender is the creation of a new identity for the facilities of Jofebar company with special emphasis on PanoramAH! brand consistent with the company's values and the spirit of solutions and products that it develops.

Whilst preserving the existing building, we ask the competitors to present innovative solutions, by creating a new structure / façade, via static or dynamic elements, with the use of traditional or technological elements that highlight its façade.

Jury

The competition’s Jury shall be composed of 5 members and a chairman.
If any members of the Jury fail to attend, the Chairman shall have the casting vote.

Eduardo Souto de Moura

Presidente do júri, designado pela Entidade Organizadora do Concurso

Eduardo de Souto Moura (Porto, 1952) holds a degree in Architecture from the Porto School of Fine Arts in 1980.
Collaborates with the architect Noé Dinis (1974), architect Alvaro Siza Vieira (from 1975 until 1979) and architect Sá Fernandes (from 1979 until 1980).
From 1981 to 1991 works as Assistant Professor of the Architecture course in FAUP. Visiting Professor at Paris-Belleville, Harvard, Dublin, Zurich and Lausanne.
Starts activity as a liberal professional in 1980.
He received several awards and participated in various seminars and conferences in Portugal and abroad. He received the Pritzker Prize (2011) and the Wolf Prize (2013)

Pedro Ramalho

Pedro Ramalho holds a degree in Architecture from the Porto School of Fine Arts in 1968.
Professor at ESBAP since 1970, coordinating the Architecture course. Resident Professor (1979) and Professor at the Faculty of Architecture University of Porto (1991).
Since 2012, he has become the Director or the Master and PhD in Architecture at the Universidade Lusófona do Porto.
He has worked as an architect since 1969, performing numerous urban planning and architecture works for the City Halls of Matosinhos, Guimarães, Águeda and Porto, for the FFH, the INH, for Porto and Aveiro Universities, and for various public and individual clients.
Participation in several Exhibitions, Debates, Colloquiums and Seminars. He has received several awards and distinctions throughout his professional career.

Eurico Almeida

Eurico Almeirda (Albergaria-a-Velha, 1980) holds a degree in architecture by Fernando Pessoa University (Porto) in 2006.
In 2004 joins in Jofebar team in the project of “Casa da Música – Porto” by the architect Rem Koolhaas. Since then he cooperates with Jobefar, being its administrator since 2014.

Bruno Marchand

professor da EPFL - École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne

Bruno Marchand (1955) holds a degree in architecture by Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 1980. PhD in Science in 1992.
He is Professor of Architectural Theory at the EPFL since 1997. He also chairs the Laboratory of Theory and History of Architecture 2 (LTH2) and the editorial board of Matières – published by LTH.
Senior associate of DeLaMa from 2001 to 2014. He is actually independent and develops studies on regional and urban design.

Luís Ferreira Alves

Convidado pela Jofebar

Luis Ferreira Alves (V.N. Gaia, 1938) specialized in architecture, heritage and territory photography being regularly published in magazines around the world. He has systematically collaborated with architects of the so-called Escola do Porto, namely Eduardo Souto de Moura.
Director of architectural and cultural videos, has dozens of books edited and held numerous exhibitions, some in co-authoring, inside and outside the country.
He was awarded the title of Honorary Member of the Ordem dos Arquitectos (2013) and was awarded by Porto City Hall with the Municipal Medal of Merit - Gold Degree (2015)

André Campos

em representação da Universidade Lusófona do Porto – Dep.º de Arquitectura

André Campos (Porto, 1977), holds a degree in architecture by Faculty of Architecture University of Porto in 2005.
Collaborated in various architectural offices from 1999 until 2002, and with the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura from 2002 to 2012.
Works in his own office in Porto since 2006, and has published work in national and international journals, having participated in exhibitions, conferences and workshops in Portugal and abroad. Among his projects many national and international awards stand out.
